So, the trip to Carrick on Shannon with The Rolling Waves was very enjoyable last weekend. Our host, Liam @ Cryans could’nt have been nicer and gave us a warm welcome and great hospitality throughout our trad music session on Saturday night. Earlier in the evening we visited & played a mini session @ The Arch Bar in Jamestown where we met some folk involved with the winning Carrick hurlers who gained Leitrim’s first ever Connacht Club Men’s title that day! The atmosphere was jubiliant throughout the town with car horns going & smiles on a lot of faces. Good vibes all round & thanks to Declan Faughnan for organising the whole adventure.
